Welcome

At Hotel Colessio, we warmly welcome pets as part of the family and want every guest — twolegged and fourlegged — to enjoy a comfortable stay. Pets stay free when booking direct; otherwise, a £20 per night charge applies per VIP.

1. Booking & Charges

• Selected rooms can accommodate pets; please contact the hotel directly to check availability. 
• Standard charge: £20 per dog per night, maximum two pets per room, unless booked direct (then pets stay free). 
• Guests accept full responsibility for their pets, and the hotel does not accept liability 

2. Where Pets Are Allowed

Pets are welcome in:

• Your room, your bed, the sofa… 
• Public corridors
• Outdoor areas
• Lounge/bar area

(They must always remain on a lead/leash when outside your room.)

Not permitted in:

• The restaurant dining area (guide dogs excepted)
• Bruce Suite

We are happy to arrange breakfast in the bar area so you can dine together, please book this on your arrival.

3. Housekeeping & Staff Access

• Housekeeping will only service your room when your pet is not inside or is safely contained. 
• Pets must be removed or restrained anytime a hotel employee is in the room. 

4. Behaviour Expectations

• Please ensure your pet is friendly with other guests, remember there are other VIP’s in the building. 
• No excessive noise: repeated barking, meowing, chirping, or howling may disturb others.
• Pets shouldn’t be left alone unless they are calm, quiet, and settled. If you step out, inform Reception, leave a contact number, and stay away no more than 20 minutes.

5. Toileting & Cleanliness

• Take pets outside for toileting and always clean up after them. We understand “nature calls” — it’s the surprises left behind we’d like to avoid, families share the outdoor spaces. 

6. Damage & Care of Hotel Property

• Please prevent scratching, chewing, or “creative expressions” on furniture. 
• Any damage caused by pets will incur charges. 
• Bring their favourite toys or items for comfort. 

7. Extra Amenities

• Reception can provide bowls, pet snacks, and recommendations for local petfriendly shops or walking routes. 
• Welcome packs and treats are available from Reception
