Riverside Museum
Riverside Museum is Glasgow’s award-winning transport museum. With over 3,000 objects on display there’s everything from skateboards to locomotives, paintings to prams and cars, and even a full size Stormtrooper from Star Wars. There are recreated historic streetscapes, toy displays and even an underground train carriage. The Museum is in a stunning location on the River Clyde, and the ultra modern building has become a very popular attraction, named European Museum of the Year in 2013, just 2 years after it opened.
